RIEDMAN COMPANIES IS ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE

For over 60 years the Riedman Family has dedicated itself to being a good neighbor, giving back to every community it serves and making them stronger than before they started. Riedman Companies’ abiding corporate tenet has always been strong community involvement, and therefore, actively seek opportunities to promote the benefit of individuals, families, and neighborhoods of the community in which we work and live. As the stewards of the community, our responsibility to take care of future generations and invest in the community is taken seriously.

A Step Into Africa Exhibit at the Seneca Park Zoo
“David Riedman was part of the leadership team that led the development of the 5-acre “A Step Into Africa” animal exhibit at the Seneca Park Zoo. David Riedman is the past President and current board member of the Seneca Park Zoo Society.
The Fish Hatchery at Powder Mills Park
Riedman Foundation operates The Fish Hatchery inside Powder Mills Park and Riedman Companies generously built the shelters within the park providing a more welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
YMCA's Invest in Youth Campaign
Riedman Companies donated the profits from one of its residential properties built specifically to benefit the YMCA’s Invest in Youth campaign. Members of the Riedman Companies team participated in the construction of the house. David Riedman currently serves on the YMCA of Greater Rochester’s board of directors.
Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine
As a member of the Erie, Pennsylvania community, Riedman Companies contributed to support the LECOM Student Scholarship Fund.
Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation,
Western New York Chapter
Riedman Companies has provided investments in the JDRF to promote research in finding a cure for those with type I diabetes.
The Salvation Army
During the holiday season each year, The Hammocks communities collect donations of canned goods, clothing, and toys for families in need.
American Red Cross
The Hammocks communities have hosted several Blood Drives over the years to help individuals who are in need of blood.
Toys for Tots
Again during the holiday season, several of The Hammocks communities have participated in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots campaign in an effort to spread Christmas joy to children who are less fortunate.
