David Riedman states, “The ribbon cutting of the Corning Community College Health Education Center marks the completion of one component in the redevelopment of the former Corning Guthrie hospital. A new building on the property honors the legacy of the Hospital by providing the community with a state of the art Health Education Center. In our plans for new market rate housing on the remainder of the property, we have taken great care to complement the Health Education Center and incorporate architectural design elements from the City of Corning into our design. In doing so, the redevelopment of 176 Dennison will fit seamlessly into the fabric of the community. At the same time, we will deliver a housing preference currently in demand in Corning. Mark Purcell and I would like to extend our sincere congratulations to Corning Community College on this significant milestone and we look forward to our future development work in the City of Corning.”
